Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to remove and install a new utility pole 442825E and equipment in Caltrans right-of-way, along State Route (SR) 405, at postmile (PM) 15.99, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities, in the City of Torrance, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches, an average width of 36 inches, and a maximum length of 3 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
