Document Description
Minor B project 0W190 will close the sidewalk gap on southbound Beach Blvd by installing a new sidewalk on State Route 39 (SR-39) in the City of Westminster, in Orange County. The purpose of the project is to close the sidewalk gap new on southbound of Beach Blvd. This is necessary in order to provide pedestrians with a safe walkway on southbound of Beach Blvd. Project activities include clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, installing ADA curb ramps, concrete curb and gutter, poles, cabinets, signage, traffic control systems, and hazardous waste cleanup along southbound Beach Blvd between 21st and 23rd Streets. The project is financed with state funds and the proposed work lies within the State right-of-way (ROW) at postmiles (PM) 7.8/8.0. Excavation is estimated to be 4 inches deep and is limited to the sidewalk area. No new ROW is required.
