Reasons for Exemption
The project is limited to the improvement of an existing sewer lift station. This action will not result in any impacts to sensitive biological or archaeological resources. Furthermore, the project meets the criteria set forth in CEQA section 15302 which replacement and reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where new structures will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced.
