Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project has been found to be categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act because it has been determined to be Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (c). Existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities, and other alterations such as the addition of bicycle facilities, transit improvements such as bus lanes, pedestrian crossing, street trees, and other similar alterations that do not create additional automobile lanes. This project will maintain or rehabilitate existing roadways with no expansion of existing use.
