The proposed project has been found to be categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act because it has been determined to be Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (c). Existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities (this includes road grading for the purpose of public safety), and other similar alterations that do not
create additional automobile lanes. This project consists of minor alterations to existing storm drain facilities with no expansion of use.
