Document Description
Renew and replacement of a 16 ft x 38 ft boathouse with boatlift, and a gangway from the existing pier that will connect to the rebuilt boathouse. The project will add two additional mooring pilings on the north side of the boathouse, with a gangway connecting the boathouse to the mooring pilings. All construction activities of the new boathouse would be performed from either the contractor’s boat or barge. Construction activities would be performed Monday through Friday, between 7am and 4pm. Possible equipment for construction includes a barge, crane, work boats, welders, and generators. Anderson Island, where the project is to be completed, is an island with no connection to land, so access is limited to a vessel. No tules are present in the project area. The shoreline where the project is proposed is relatively shallow compared to other portions of the lake. Given the lakebed disturbance of driving pilings to support the new structure, the applicant is also required to obtain a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement from California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
