88 15-gallon trees will be planted outside of the perimeter fence at the Hanford Softball Complex. Tree planting will include mechanically auguring 18" deep by 18" wide at the identified tree planting locations. In addition, minor alterations to the existing irrigation system will be made to ensure appropriate watering of the newly planted trees.

The City of Hanford also determined the project to be exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section 15304, as the project consists of minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes.
