Document Description
The existing drainage system at PM 11.90 is in poor condition. If it is allowed to further deteriorate, roadway failure is possible. This could lead to highway closure to enable repairs, thus inconveniencing area residents and disrupting businesses which depend on this lifeline highway for mobility. The proposed project will replace the existing 99-foot long, 18-inch diameter CSP culvert (Drainage System ID 360174001190) located at PM 11.90 on SR 17 in Santa Cruz County with an 84-foot long, 24-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe across the highway as well as 400-foot long perforated steel pipe underdrain and 400-foot long slotted corrugated drain along the pavement edge. All work is within operational right-of-way.
