Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff will repair 5 erosions on the eastern side of Reach 2 of the California Aqueduct. Erosions will be repaired by collapsing eroded soil on the slopes with an excavator and backfilling with dirt fill. The fill material will be compacted using a backhoe with a sheep’s foot roller. A water truck will be used for dust mitigation purposes and to ensure proper soil moisture. All staging and access will be on established paved and unpaved roads. All work is within DWR right of way.
