Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company (AT&T California) to replace a damaged telephone pole (# 767008H) within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) along State Route (SR) 33 at post mile (PM) 13.8, as well as perform traffic control activities, in the City of Ojai, Ventura County. The proposed work will involve open-cutting near the pole’s base, setting the replacement pole, transferring existing cable, and trimming two existing trees adjacent to the pole. Excavation will have a minimum depth of 48 inches, a maximum depth of 55 inches, and an average width and length of 2 feet by 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new ROW will be acquired.
