Document Description
The City of Redding will renew a right of way grant from the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to construct, operate and maintain a portion of Buenaventura Boulevard on public lands. When renewed this grant will extend through December 31, 2055. The City and BLM will also renew a second right of way grant to construct, operate, and maintain an access road from Buenaventura Boulevard to a potential development. No road improvements were constructed but this alignment may now serve as secondary access to the Peaks Subdivision. When renewed this grant will extend through December 31, 2056.

The existing right of way grants will be renewed and the activity will not result in an expansion of use. The action area has been reviewed and does not have significant values for wildlife habitat or other environmental resources. The action has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
