Document Description
The Project proposes new water facilities to replace and abandon existing water facilities and provide treated water to the City. Specifically, the City of Poway would construct a transmission pipeline with associated vaults within Espola Road and Lake Poway Road, a new booster pump station, a forebay tank, piping between the pump station/forebay tank and existing clearwells, a sodium hypochlorite system, and a surge tank. In addition, the existing pump station approximately 700 feet east of the Espola Road intersection on the south side of Lake Poway Road would be demolished. As part of the Project, the San Diego County Water Authority would construct a new Flow Control Facility (FCF) at the Project’s connection to the Ramona Pipeline.
