Document Description
This project will supplement the ongoing Wildlife Damage Management (WDM) Program, aimed at protecting livestock, crops, property, human health and safety, and natural resources. This project intends to utilize motion/heat activated wildlife cameras to detect predators entering and moving through Modoc County. Cameras will be established along wildlife movement corridors within Modoc County year-round. They will be monitored by the Wildlife Services Wildlife Technician, Modoc County Sheriff, Modoc County Agricultural Commissioner, and other designated officials as appropriate.
Data collected from these cameras will be used to notify producers and the sheriff of potential to harm livestock or human health and safety.
