Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-65274-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Catherine Moseley. The project is limited to the removal and replacement of an existing boatlift and gangway with a 20x32 foot covered boatlift and 3x30 gangway. Eight wood pilings will be removed, and six metal 10-inch pilings will be driven using a free fall hammer on a steel barge. No trees or vegetation will be removed for this project. All loading of materials and boat launching will take place at 9080 Soda Bay Rd, Kelseyville CA. All staging on-site will take place on the steel barge.

The Lead Agency determined that the Project meets certain qualifying criteria for the exemption. Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21080.1(a), the Lead Agency is responsible for determining whether the Project is exempt from CEQA and that determination shall be final and conclusive on all persons, including Responsible Agencies. As a result, CDFW, acting as a Responsible Agency, is bound by the Lead Agency’s determination that the Project is exempt from CEQA.
