Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to retrofit Creek Road Bridge over San Anselmo Creek in order to enhance seismic safety, to prevent catastrophic failure during a Maximum Credible Earthquake, and maintain the structural integrity of the bridge to protect public safety. During construction, the bridge would be closed and traffic would be detoured through other access routes. Access to the creek would be needed for construction work. The footprint of the bridge and approach roadways would not change due to the Project and no new rights-of-way are needed. Vegetation restoration work would be implemented prior to completion of construction work in all disturbed areas.
