Document Description
The applicant is seeking Land Use Permit approval to establish a 6.6. Megawatt (MW) capacity solar energy facility consisting of approximately 11,760 solar panel modules arranged in uniform rows throughout a 30-acre project site. The solar panel arrays would be equipped with single-axis trackers which rotate the panels throughout the day to track the suns movement overhead. The trackers result in varying array height -from a minimum of 4'6" when the sun is directly overhead, to a maximum of 7'6" at sunrise/sunset. The facility also includes 10MW-hour capacity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). County File CDLP#25-02033
