Project entails the replacement of the existing cedar wood shingle roof on the Cavanaugh-Wright House at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park to protect the building from weather related damages and allow for its continued use as a park residence. Work will include the following: •Remove and dispose of the existing roof shingles; •Inspect the roof structure; •Install new roof sheathing; •Install ice and water shield underlay; •Install new flashing and drip edge; •Seal all roof penetrations; •Replace existing roof vents; •Install new Class A fire rated asphalt shingles on roof slopes greater than 4:12; and •Install rolled roofing on low slope dormer sections.
