Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment No. 3 to the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement, Notification No. EPIMS-FRE-
31312-R4, issued to Southern California Edison Company. The Agreement authorizes activities related to the repair and replacement of key components of the low-level outlet valve system at Big Creek Dam No. 1. Amendment No. 3 includes changes to
increase length of turbidity curtain and the project area inside the turbidity curtain; removes mention of Work Seasons 1 and 2 for project activities to occurring over a span of more than two years; changes water quality monitoring locations and frequency; modifies the use of divers for the project; clarifies the fish monitoring requirement; corrects the turbidity baseline and increase limits for water quality sampling; adds an additional fish restocking requirement for increased impacts to fish inside the turbidity curtain; and replaces Figure 2 of the Agreement to reflect changes to the project work areas.
