Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number ELD-63693-R2, pursuant to
Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, El Dorado Irrigation District.
The project is a part of a larger project that includes improvements at two boat launch
facilities (BLFs) within the Sly Park Recreation Area (SPRA) located in the community of
Pollock Pines. The project covered under the Agreement is limited to the widening of the boat
ramp at the Doolittle BLF on Jenkinson Lake. This includes the excavation of 365 cubic yards
(CY) of silt and debris from the area where the new boat launch lanes will be constructed.
Installing 100 linear feet (115 CY) concrete matting to form the boat launch lanes with 130 CY
of riprap along the edges and a new concrete anchor to guide the floating dock.
Work would be performed from a floating barge and/or long reach excavator from the
shoreline. A silt curtain would be installed around the work area in the reservoir to help
contain turbidity generated during construction activities.
