Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Crown Castle Communications to relocate an existing vault from sidewalk to alley at Tribune Court within Caltrans right-of-way at State Route (SR) 1 at post mile (PM) 6.42, as well as perform traffic control activities, within the City of Long Beach, Los Angeles County. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 10 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
