Document Description
The project consists of the development of a 42.4-acre park on a vacant parcel of land. The project consists of street-related improvements and four phases of park improvements. Phase one consists of the design, installation, and construction of park-related improvements, including: road and street access, pedestrian and park walkways, and three (3) parking areas. Park facility-related improvements include: four
(4) baseball fields and two (2) softball fields, three (3) soccer fields, three (3) universal courts, three (3) handball courts, two (2) picnic and barbeque areas, four (4) basketball courts, batting cages, two (2) playgrounds, and related improvements. CDBG CARES funds will be utilized to provide road access since the approved State Grant funding does not include road access within the scope of covered improvements. Additional CDBG funding may be used for the design of phases two through four of the project. Phases 2-4 are described further in the document.
