Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install three (3) level 2 electric vehicle chargers at Brannan Island SRA to provide a charging area for the new electric Parks vehicles and to improve charging abilities for park staff. Work will: Use weed whippers to remove vegetation from work areas. Excavate an approximately 70 feet long and 2 inches deep trench through dirt and existing asphalt. Excavate three (3) holes in the asphalt at the site, install three (3) 8-ft x 4-in x 4-in pressure treated posts, and pour concrete. Install a Christy box at charging site and install approximately 70 feet of 2-inch PVC sweeps and connectors from existing breaker box to Christy box. Install approximately 50 feet in length of one inch PVC conduits, sweeps and connectors from Christy box to each post. Install three (3) outdoor reception boxes with receptacles on each post. Connect and install three (3) 50 amp breakers at the breaker box and install approximately 300 feet of wiring from breaker box to each reception box at charging site to complete circuit. Backfill trench with excavated materials. Pour concrete to patch asphalt segments.
