Document Description
Caltrans proposes to restore treatment BMPs (bioswales) in San Deigo County along
SR-56 to their original as-built condition. This includes removing vegetation, regrading, soil amendments, and reseeding with a native plant mix. After completion of bioswale construction, Caltrans proposes to execute plant establishment activities within the bioswales. Plant establishment activities include controlling plant growth, fertilizing, controlling rodents, insects, and weeds, replacing damaged plants, watering, and operating and repairing the irrigation system for 1 year post construction (250 working days).
