Document Description
The applicant, Southern California Edison (SCE), under Encroachment Permit 12-26-6-US-0203, is proposing to replace one deteriorated transmission utility pole 1269244E on State Route 90 (SR-90), also known as Imperial Highway, a principal arterial in the City of Fullerton, in Orange County. This work is part of SCEs deteriorated pole infrastructure replacement program, under Work Order TD2156527. The purpose of the project is to replace deteriorated transmission pole on SR-90 to maintain safe and reliable electrical service. The need for the project is that the existing pole is deteriorated and poses a risk to safe and reliable electrical service. The proposed replacement pole will be installed in the same location as the existing pole due to riser, on the sidewalk in the eastbound direction of SR-90 at postmile (PM) 3.33 at 4 feet (ft) from the edge of traveled way (ETW) within the State right of way. The project is financed with private funds, and the work that will occur within the Caltrans ROW is less than 1 acre. No new right-of-way is required.
