Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has amended Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-FRE-35246-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison Company. The Agreement authorizes repairs to the existing Low-Level Outlet (LLO) system, resurfacing the downstream face of Dam No. 4, and construction of a valve house shelter. It is anticipated that the LLO Replacement will occur first, and concrete repairs/resurfacing second. Amendment No. 1 changes the Permittee contact, changes the configuration of the area enclosed by the turbidity curtain, changes the turbidity curtain installation methods, and updates Agreement Figure 2

Reasons for Exemption
The Project modifies construction methods related to the turbidity curtain to be used during maintenance of an existing facility of a publicly-owned utility that provides electric power, natural gas, sewage, or other public utility services, with no expansion of use. The Project will not have significant environmental impacts if it is completed under the protective features of Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-FRE-35246-R4.
