The project involves the maintenance of an existing creek channel facility, half of which is lined with concrete. There would be no expansion of capacity or function beyond the original design. The project will result in a net benefit by providing erosion control, maintaining creek flow, and controlling floods into adjacent residential areas. There would be no adverse effects to biological or cultural/historical resources or other impacts to the environment that would cause an exception to applying the Class 1 exemption.
