Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to replace the existing 45-foot Class 4 wood distribution pole with a new 45-foot Class 4 wood distribution pole along State Route (SR) 138, in the City of Lancaster, County of Los Angeles, as well as perform temporary traffic control activities. The existing 45-foot Class 4 wood distribution pole will be replaced one foot west, in line with its existing location, on the roadside along SR-138 in the eastbound (EB) direction at postmile (PM) 29.71. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 84 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
