Document Description
This project consists of the purchase of eight (8) new zero-emission, battery-electric transit buses to support feeder service to the Cross Valley Express, a regional transit service connecting communities across Tulare County. The proposed service will operate on Routes 10, 20, and 40, linking Dinuba, Visalia, Tulare, Delano, Lindsay, and Porterville, and improving access to employment, healthcare, education, and essential services.
The project includes the procurement of eight (8) like-kind 35-foot, heavy-duty, battery-electric transit buses, each with a passenger capacity of approximately 30 riders and accommodations for two (2) wheelchair positions
