The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) approved Habitat Restoration and Enhancement Act–Request for Approval, Request No. 1652-2026-088-001-R2, pursuant to section 1652 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, MTN Consulting and Restoration LL, as represented by Noah Abramson. The Project involves the restoration of approximately 0.26 acres of stream habitat for fish and wildlife species within Iron Horse Creek and the surrounding meadow. The Project includes the construction of grade control structures, channel fill treatments, and riparian re-vegetation to improve aquatic and riparian habitat quality and complexity. The structures will re-activate a floodplain and improve groundwater recharge.
