Document Description
The Paloma Curve Pipeline Replacement Project (Project) will replace an aging and leaking water pipeline in the Mesa Terrace and Paloma Curve areas of the unincorporated community of San Antonio Heights within San Bernardino County, adjacent to the City of Upland. The Project involves installation of a new 4,200-foot surface water transmission pipeline within the public roadway right-of-way along Paloma Curve, Park Boulevard, North Mountain Avenue, and Mesa Terrace, replacing the existing pipeline and eliminating portions currently located beneath residential properties. The old pipeline will be abandoned in place. The new pipeline will connect the existing forebay/pump station near North Mountain Avenue and Mesa Terrace to Reservoir No. 4 near Paloma Curve and Ravina Curve. The Project also includes a concrete divider wall and a new piping connection at Reservoir No. 4, along with restoration of pavement and curbs where trenching occurs.
