The Project will restore riparian floodplain habitat on 467 acres of the Island Dairy Ranch property, converting agricultural fields and a dairy facility into native vegetation including other habitat enhancement activities such as reconnecting wetlands and removing bankside rubble. The Project is solely intended to restore, enhance and protect habitat upon which California native fish and wildlife depend and to assist in the recovery of California native fish and wildlife.
