Document Description
An application to modify an existing T-Mobile wireless facility on a Southern California Edison wood utility pole located along a private road within the 23800 block of Malibu Crest Drive. The project would remove one panel antenna, one mounting arms, and one equipment shroud, and would install one new side-mounted antenna (approximately eight inches in diameter), along with cabling, an electrical shutoff switch, and associated equipment. Existing radio equipment in the underground equipment vault would be replaced in kind with a radio unit. The existing 43-foot wood utility pole (SCE Pole ID No. 4553030) and underground vault would remain in place with no change in height, dimensions, or footprint. No excavation, trenching, or new ground-mounted equipment is proposed. All improvements would occur on the existing pole and within the existing underground vault. In addition to City-issued permits, the applicant is required to obtain permits for use of the pole by Southern California Edison.
