Document Description
The proposed project includes approval of a license agreement and acceptance of the donation of architectural and engineering plans, permit processing, labor, materials and construction of a modular tactical training building (Project) from the Orange County Sheriff's Advisory Council to be located at the existing Orange County Sheriff’s Training Facility site at 1900 west Katella Avenue in the City of Orange The scope of work for the Project includes construction of a two-story modular tactical training building (approximately 7,000 sf with a footprint of 3,500 sf) with six different training environments that can be configured and re-configured in a multitude of ways to create innumerable training scenarios within a single structure. Additionally, the structure will include a heating/ventilation/air conditioning system, water for fire suppression only, and electrical utilities to support variable lighting, and a ceiling mount CCTV and recording system. The proposed Project will provide additional training for Sheriff-Coroner Department's Deputies who may respond to crisis situations in a multitude of settings.
