Document Description
This project will install bicycle detection systems and signage at seven signalized intersections along Golden Valley Road and Newhall Ranch Road to improve bicyclist safety. The system will use video detection to identify approaching cyclists approximately 300 feet in advance of each intersection and provide visual confirmation to cyclists when detected. Improvements will be implemented at intersections along Golden Valley Road at Lost Canyon Road, South Plaza, Highland Drive, and Robert C. Lee Parkway, and along Newhall Ranch Road at Santa Clarita Parkway, Millhouse Drive, and Hillsborough Parkway.
