Document Description
The project consists of the installation of Flock Safety automated license plate reading (ALPR) cameras on behalf of El Centro Police Department. The installation consists of a 12' X SQRD REDITORQUE breakaway pole with a camera and solar panel mounted to the pole with limited ground disturbance consisting of the pole, and concrete caisson. The purpose of the installation is to provide law enforcement with the ability to detect license plates associated with criminal activity and to assist law enforcement with intercepting these vehicles. The beneficiaries of the project are both law enforcement and the public at large as this installation will serve public safety interests.
