The City of San Mateo (City) in partnership with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) is proposing to construct a new Class IV separated bikeway along 19th Avenue in the City of San Mateo. These safety improvements are intended to improve the safety of cyclists and pedestrians in these cities as well as improve multimodal linkages to a regional transportation hub, the Hayward Park Caltrain station.
