Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a Director’s Order project to replace a culvert at post mile 1.59 on State Route (SR) 26 in San Joaquin County. A sink hole was discovered near the culvert and further investigation revealed the drainage system was compromised. The scope of work includes installation of a plastic pipe inside the damaged culvert, ditch clearing, and pavement work. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to repair the damaged and failing culvert system. The project is needed to rectify the sink hole and ensure motorist safety across the drainage.
