Reasons for Exemption
The project includes the grading, repaving, and reconfiguring of the existing parking lot within the existing boundaries and would not expand the existing use or capacity. Therefore, the project meets the criteria under Section 15301. The proposed buildings will be constructed on the existing school site and in generally the same portions of the site as the existing building. Therefore, the project meets the criteria under Section 15302. The project proposes an increase of eight classrooms and enrollment capacity increase from 300 to 375 students. Therefore, the project meets the criteria under Section 15314.
