Reasons for Exemption
The project includes a new 1,440-square-foot commercial building, which is less
than both the 2,500-square-foot and 10,000-square-foot thresholds for a Class 3 exemption. The project was evaluated for noise impacts, which found that there would be increase in noise of less than one decibel (not substantial and barely perceptible). and that point-in-time noise would not increase from existing ambient noise.
