Document Description
PG&E installed a 15-inch-diameter culvert in an ephemeral drainage feature along Forest Service Road 4N01A. The drainage feature that received the culvert flows into the South Fork Stanislaus River approximately 150 feet downstream of the culvert. The culvert was installed by excavating a minor amount of material from below the ordinary high-water mark of the drainage using a rubber-tired backhoe to ensure the culvert was supported by solid ground along its entire length through the road prism. The spoils and imported road base were placed over the culvert and along the road immediately adjacent to the culvert.
