Document Description
SCE plans to replace an existing wooden H-frame transmission structure with two new 80-foot steel poles supported by deep steel caissons, generating temporary soil stockpiles and requiring onsite concrete mixing with spill-prevention measures. After conductor transfer, the old poles will be removed by helicopter, excavation areas will be backfilled with native soil, and the roughly 100-foot work area will be restored to pre-project conditions. Access will occur via truck and foot travel, and a dewatering plan will be implemented if groundwater is encountered.
