Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SBA-43211-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Charles Jackson. The Project is limited to the routine maintenance of aggraded sediments within Quiota Creek under, upstream, and downstream of the bottomless arch culvert-bridge known as Quiota Crossing 0A. Routine maintenance activities at this location will restore full flow conveyance under the bridge. Equipment to be used includes a small bulldozer, a mini or full-sized excavator, and a dump truck. An excavator or small bulldozer will enter the stream and remove the aggraded sediments by placing them into a dump truck positioned on the deck of the bridge. The dump truck will then haul away the sediment to a pre-determined disposal site on the Alisal Ranch (Permittee’s property). Access to the streambed will be from an adjacent ranch road and down the streambank.
