Reasons for Exemption
Class 1 consists of the repair, maintenance or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. The project will improve the ADA path of travel and modify the existing book drop to meet ADA standards, and minor modifications to the parking lot including restriping and new EV charging ADA space. The changes do not expand the existing use of the library and is therefore
exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
