Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Cottage Outdoor commercial cannabis license submitted on September 23, 2024, by Eduardo Villagomez. The Project will consist of a specialty cottage outdoor (LCA24-0000699) located at 1901 North Road (APN: 014-373-33-00) in the community of Laytonville in unincorporated Mendocino County. The project will operate within the footprint of previous cannabis cultivation operations. The new project will consist of approximately 2,500 square feet (sf) of full-sun outdoor cultivation grown in 7 greenhouses, each 3’ x 118’. No immature plants will be grown on site. Associated facilities found on the premises include an existing 40’ x 40’ building for harvest storage and drying, a 10’ x 10’ areas for cannabis compost and a 3’ x 10” structure for chemical and nutrient storage. Water is supplied by the Laytonville County Water District. No processing or packaging takes place on site. Mature plants are harvested and moved to a thirdparty facility for processing. Electricity is provided by PG&E.

None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
