Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Small Outdoor commercial cannabis license. The cultivation project operation would take place at 133 Bigfoot Path in an unincorporated area of trinity County, California (APN 022-360-19-00). The proposed cultivation project is the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of outdoor cannabis cultivation and 1,600 sf of immature plants. Mature cultivation will occur in 34 6’ x 6’ minihoops. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. Existing support facilities include a 44’ x 78’ two-story processing building, administrative hold area, harvest storage and immature plant area; two (2) 100 sf sheds for chemical and fertilizer storage and petroleum storage; a 100-sf compost area; 24 5,000-gallon water tanks; a 2,500-gallon water tank for fire suppression; a residence. Water for the project is provided by a groundwater well. An onsite septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was
certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
