The traffic signal backplates will frame the signal housing with a one-to-three-inch yellow retroreflective border. The retroreflective border provides a contrasted background that illuminates the signal during both daytime and nighttime conditions, while also increasing the signal's visibility in the case of a power outage. All work will be completed within existing developed and disturbed right of way.
