The interim use would be consistent with the underlying zoning, master plan and land lease. It is also consistent with or less intensive than prior uses such as a shipping wharf and container storage and repair area. The interim use permit is also time limited by the implementation requirements of the DA, i.e. site preparation for the mixed use development is required to begin by March 2028.
