Document Description
Installing public electric vehicle chargers per Assembly Bill 1083. Work includes: Trench / excavate to install conduits, 1-75HBS transformer & 3425 pad (59”L x 78”W) with retaining wall (8’L x 18’W area to be excavated), 1-power center & pad (88”L x 36”W), and 5-EV chargers & pad (24”L x 24”W), and 4-bollards to accommodate an underground utility system. And 1-60' steel pole. New concrete pavement for new ADA stalls. Trench will be 2' wide x 3' deep x total area 400 sqft. 340 sqft of the trench in pre-disturbed asphalt, 60 sqft of the trench in soil area. Equipment will be excavators, backhoes, shoring systems and shovels. Typical trench repair standard T-Trench, Standard Street Repair, Slurry back-fill. Temp fence will be placed around the stalls where the EV chargers will be placed. The temp fence will provide safety to keep the public out, within the fenced area we will contain the laydown yard. The parking lot drive aisle will remain accessible and monitored with traffic control plan and pedestrian control plan.
