Document Description
The project is an indoor cannabis cultivation at 1040 Bryant Street in San Francisco with 2808 sf of canopy area. The project will use soil, light, water, and nutrients in pots in tables. Deliveries will occur once or twice a month. Three employees will be on site during business hours. Water is provided by SFPUC and power is provided by PG&E. No increase in water or power use is anticipated. The previous tenant was a cannabis cultivator, and the project will use existing HVAC, irrigation equipment, and odor mitigation equipment. The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Indoor commercial cannabis license submitted on September 2, 2025, by Conscious Vitality Corporation.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
