Document Description
Request by Patti Mahaffey for a Minor Use Permit (“MUP”) to authorize the use of existing facilities for the purpose of hosting of up to 35 temporary outdoor events per year with up to 200 attendees per event. Events would be held in two contiguous outdoor areas currently occupied by ornamental landscaping and walkways; temporary parking will be provided in two areas currently used to support equestrian activities. The total area to be re-purposed for temporary events is about 1.7 acres. The project will not require any new grading or structures except for driveway improvements on Geneseo Road. Temporary water and sanitary facilities will be brought to the site for events. Outdoor amplified speech and music is also proposed. The project site is located about five miles east of the City of Paso Robles at 5750 Eagle Oak Ranch Way within the Agriculture land use category. The project site is in the El Pomar Estrella Sub Area of the North County Planning Area.
